A fabulous match yesterday in Rio, with many educational moments.

A penalty kick: the line is considered inside the 18-yard box, therefore it's a penalty; A ball incorrectly picked up by the keeper results in a rare free kick given inside the 18-yard box. The ref. was correct in giving the indirect free kick, the keeper made a mistake in picking the ball up, subsequently all players on the wall should have been exactly on top of the line, or 10 yds away (furthest possible distance), not what happened at all, a bad referee's mistake.

Note the 2nd Sao Paulo goal: free kick from the 38-year old by Rogerio Ceni to the 39-year old Rivaldo (both WC champions).
