Our Golden Boys Are Back
The boys played superbly today, losing 1x0 to the league champions. This was the last match for the other team, they finished the season with 62 goals in favor and only 7 against. Two days ago they had beaten WOS White 11x0. They beat the other Royals team 9x0, Kemptville 7x1, and so on. A great showing by our boys, only one lucky (and great, unstoppable) shot went in.
We are very proud of the boys when they play hard and focused like today. The team seemed to finally resume playing like it was playing before the players' holidays started in July.
There were many MVPs today, many players playing really hard and winning balls. A special mention has to go to Shar, outstanding.
Thursday: We have to play like today!
BTW, Kudos to OSU. They played fair and square, nicely done.
